	Recommendations We usually recommend that you stay at either the Indiana Memorial Union Hotel or at the Grant Street Inn Bed & Breakfast. Both are within easy walking distance of our offices on the Indiana University Camps. We also provide information about other places to stay and extended visits below.
		Grant Street Inn Bed & Breakfast The Grant Street Inn is located in downtown Bloomington at 7th & Grant, two blocks north of Kirkwood, home of many local merchants and restaurants. The Inn is about a 15 minute walk away from the SPEA building, where the Institute's offices are located. Parking is at a premium and you will find it difficult to park if you are staying at the Grant Street Inn and driving. 	Indiana Memorial Union Hotel The Indiana Memorial Union (IMU) Hotel is conveniently located on the IU campus, in the heart of the old campus. It is also a short walk away from Kirkwood, home of many local merchants and restaurants. The hotel is less than ten minutes away from the SPEA building on foot. There are parking lots at the union. 	Extended Visits For those of you who are visiting us for a week or longer, there are some other options. The University Operates a number of apartment buildings on the IU campus. Apartments come furnished and include everything you need in the kitchen. Most guests who choose this option stay at the Campus View Apartments, which is a short walk from SPEA. The Tulip Tree Apartment building is a slightly longer walk.
