Recent Work By Charles Bonser

 

Although Dr. Bonser has been retired for several years. he still remains very active on the research and education fronts.

2001

On May 17, 2001 Dr. Bonser presented a paper on "Strengthening the European/American Connection: The Case of the Transatlantic Consortium for Policy Analysis and Edcation at the UCEN European Conference in Barcelona Spain.

2000

In 2000, Dr. Bonser co-authored and edited two books.

The first book, American Public Policy Problems, was co-authored with Indiana University's Eugene B. McGregor and Clinton V. Oster.  This book represents a comprehensive guidebook to understanding and participating in the debate over American public affairs decision making.  The book was published by Prentice Hall.

The second book, Security, Trade, and Environmental Policy: A US/European Union Transatlantic Agenda, is a collection of papers presented at two conferences: the 1997 conference at the Ecole Nationale d'Administration (ENA) in Paris hosted by the ENA and Indiana University; as well as the 1998 conference held at Bloomington, Indiana.  Subjects covered in the book include International Security Issues for the European Union and the United States; The Next Generation of US/EU World Trade Policy; and Globalization and the Environment.
