The
Indiana Conflict Resolution Institute (ICRI) in the Indiana University
School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) was established in 1997,
and is dedicated to the understanding and studies of conflict and
dispute resolution in public and private arenas.
The Institute received initial funding from Indiana University
through a program called the Strategic Directions Initiative; much of its
continuing research is funded with grants from private foundations and
organizations.
