The Indiana Conflict Resolution
Institute is beginning to provide a variety of searchable databases on this
website. The purpose of making these databases available on the web
is to facilitate the dissemination of information to a wide range of
individuals. This is an on-going project, and is still in the early
stages of development. See below for a description of the various
databases.

The
bibliography
database
seeks to provide a comprehensive list of empirical field studies
and program evaluations on conflict resolution. The citation
search will examine each record in the
bibliography database, and select records according to keywords
entered in one or more of
the following fields: author, title, source, publisher, and/or
category. If article summaries (see below) are available, links to the
summaries will be displayed in the citation results. For more information on the contents of
the bibliography citation searches, please
see the database content description
page.

Article Summary Search
As part of
a service-learning project, Institute staff and graduate students at the School for Public and
Environmental Affairs have written summaries of many of the evaluations
cited in the bibliography database. The summaries describe the type of program evaluated, the
evaluation design and methods used, and the evaluation's findings and
conclusions. The article summary search uses a single search field, in which
any keyword can be entered. It will do a full text search of all
available summaries, and will display results sorted by title, author,
and category. For more information on the contents of
the bibliography article summary search, please
see the database content description
page.

Indiana ADR
Provider Search
In order to compile a list of Indiana ADR Providers, Institute
staff sent out surveys to 676 Providers from the Indiana Registry of
Civil and Domestic Mediators, the membership list of the Indiana
chapter of the Society of Professionals in Dispute Resolution, and the
Indiana State Bar Association Section on Dispute Resolution.
Please see our electronic
search form to
perform a search for Indiana ADR providers. A web based
version of the survey is available on our
website, and may be filled out and send electronically to ICRI
staff. For more information on this project, please see the project
description.

IUADR Faculty Survey
Many faculty members at Indiana University have a growing interest
in alternative dispute resolution, and actively participate in related
research, teaching, and service. In order to put together a comprehensive list of
faculty involved with this field of study, ICRI sent out a survey
asking faculty to describe their interests and activities in
alternative dispute resolution. The information obtained was
recently made available on our web page in the form of a
searchable database. If you are an IU faculty member, you may
fill out your own form to be submitted
to ICRI and included in the on-line database. This is a growing list, and we hope to add
additional faculty members as we obtain more information. Please
contact us if you are an Indiana University faculty member and would
like to be included in this database.
